Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2025. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Janus Fashion.
Ordering
The Terms and Conditions apply to all of the products supplied by us. This includes products in our normal stock (Standard Collection), as well as products and/or services made to the client's specification (Bespoke Products and/or Services).
The full procedure of attaining a bespoke product and/or service by JF is laid out on our website under the page "Bespoke".
The client may place an order via telephone, e-mail, website's contact page, and our social media. Any order placed is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Basis of Purchase
When placing an order, the client warrants that they are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and are at least 18 years old.
Following an order of any goods, the client will receive confirmation. For bespoke goods, an agreement will be formed with a specification between JF and the client.
Delivered upon the agreed date after a specification has been confirmed between JF and the client.
Dispatched within seven (7) working days, though this is not guaranteed.
Orders & Specifications
All orders are only deemed accepted by JF when a formal written confirmation has been received or goods have been dispatched.
The client accepts that JF has no liability in situations where:
- The client has provided inexact or incorrect specifications that are imprecise, mistaken or misleading.
- The client fails to correctly complete the measurement chart, providing incorrect measurements.
Any specifications or designs produced by JF shall remain the exclusive property of JF, including copyright, design rights and other intellectual property rights.
Prices & Payment
All prices will be as quoted on our website, except in cases of obvious error. JF reserves the right to charge correct prices for incorrectly published goods.
All prices include VAT but do not include dispatch charges. Postage must be added to the total amount of your order.
Payment must be received in advance of postage and delivery. For bespoke goods a deposit of 50% may be required before production begins.
- A bespoke contract cannot be cancelled after it has been agreed and a deposit has been paid.
- For defective goods, refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) days.
- Goods returned due to a defect will be refunded in full, including original delivery charges.
Consumer Cancellation Rights
A bespoke contract cannot be cancelled after it has been agreed and a deposit has been paid. The client may change their mind during the specification period by notifying us in writing.
Should the client wish to cancel a standard product order, they must contact JF in written form as soon as possible.
Delivery
- 6.1 — Delivery shall be made by post, courier or other suitable transport method. Goods can also be collected from our workshop by appointment.
- 6.2 — All delivery dates quoted are estimated. JF will not be liable for any delay in delivery, however caused.
- 6.3 — Any import tax, duty or customs clearance charges shall be paid by the client.
- 6.4 — If a delivery is rejected by the client for any reason, JF reserves the right to charge a fee for returning or re-sending the goods.
- 6.5 — Any shipments that may have been tampered with must be reported to JF within 48 hours of receipt.
Warranties & Liabilities
JF will be under no liability with respect to any defect arising from fair wear and tear, client negligence, misuse, wilful damage, failure to follow JF's instructions.
No warranty is given by JF in situations where the client deems goods to be fit for an unintended purpose.
By placing an order with Janus Fashion, the client confirms they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
